SHTA Yoga Tour: 10 Days
A warm welcome to the Yoga tour or even trek in Nepal.
Yoga, is believed to bring in the energy in an individual along with understanding the hidden energies which helps in freeing the mind. It is said that a yogi, a yoga practitioner is able to overcome the problems in the normal world and is above a normal human being.
The art of yoga is being practiced mainly in Nepal and India since centuries. It is not like the modern form of exercise. It does not say that you need to give pain to your body for its betterment. It only says to relax, keep yourself calm and you will achieve what you are supposed to get. It focuses on concentration, which is called Dhyan, which is a key to get the postures correct which are called Asanas. Mastering of the Asanas is supposed to ensure mental, physical, and spiritual harmony. Nepal, as is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is the best place for meditation and yoga lovers. The vast science of yoga is all dependent on five simple principles which are Proper Exercise, Proper Breathing, Proper Relaxation, Proper Diet, and Positive Thinking & Meditation.
We make sure that we bring the Yoga and Tourism together. We will provide a yoga-instructor as a tour / trek leader for a pre-defined group size or else, you will be practicing the things that you will be taught in a yoga center, in which we will be sending you before bringing the Tourism and Yoga together. This means, while travelling to the Himalayas, please have in your mind that it is not only about travelling, but also travelling with a restored body, mind and soul for a better future
The entire motive of Yoga Tourism is to operate under the guidance of the well experienced Yoga teacher is also a specialists in tours and travels.
Day 01: Arrival from the Airport, check in to the Hotel. Evening Short meditation class followed by briefing about the trip.
Day 02: (Morning yoga class ) after breakfast, drive to the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for the day tour, visit to the monasteries around and come back to the Hotel for Lunch-free afternoon for local walk.
Day 03: (Morning yoga class ) after breakfast, Half day Sightseeing tour to Boudhanatha and Kapan Monastery and come back to the hotel for Lunch and free afternoon for personal interest.
Day 04: (Morning yoga class ) after breakfast, drive to Namobuddha (40 km. away from Kathmandu) for the huge mountain monasteries visit with its splendid view of the mountains, this will be the full day tour. Have lunch in Dhulikhel and drive back to Kathmandu after Dhulikhel sightseeing.
Day 05: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, Day tour to Red/white Gompa and back to the hotel for Lunch and free day.
Day 06: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, Drive to Lumbini from Kathmandu for 8 hours and overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 07: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, visit to the Monasteries in Lumbini for full day.
Day 08: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, drive to Pokhara for the overnight stay.
Day 09: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, Visit to the World Peace Stupa and back to Pokhara for lunch and after lunch, half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara valley.
Day 10: (Morning yoga class) after breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu for the overnight stay.
Day 11: Departure
